Description

Converted in the late 90’s by Autofarm including an engine upgrade to 3.2 with high-lift camshafts and 40IDA carburettors. After some damage in 2002, Autofarm repaired the 911 on a Jig (images on file) and added some further backdates.

Specifications

Engine uprated to ‘short stroke’ 3.2 litre with RSR type Mahle pistons, 991 S camshafts making 270bhp when built. Uprated 4-pot Porsche brakes, Bilstein suspension with S-spec anti-roll bars. Lightweight style interior with modern entertainment and retrofit air-conditioning.

A UK supplied, right-hand drive 1978 Porsche 911 3.0 SC now backdated with inspiration from the 1970’s ST and RS.

A car known to Autofarm since 1988 accompanied by a comprehensive history file documenting the cars evolution over the years.

Images in the history file show the car being reassembled on a Jig in 2003 with new front clip including ‘long bonnet’.

Bilstein suspension set-up with S-spec sway bars and modern Boxster 4-pot brake calipers on all 4 corners.

Beautifully finished in period Signal yellow with backdated interior trim, also incorporating some tech including classic retro-fit electric A/C and Bluetooth stereo.

7 & 8 x 15 Fuchs wheels to complete the appearance, these wheels being the optional wheels for the 2.7 RS.

Bodywork includes a 911 S GRP front bumper, rear RS bumper to fit the wider arches. Body built up with genuine Porsche long hood, front panel, rear lid & wings.
